From First Call to Final Warranty

Most problems on an insurance restoration project do not come from bad workmanship. They come from unclear expectations, missed damage, and poor communication. At Cillessen Construction, our insurance process is designed to eliminate those issues from the start.

From the first phone call to the final warranty, you will know where your project stands, who is responsible, and what happens next. Our team documents the damage, communicates with your insurance carrier, manages the supplement process, and restores your home with the same care and craftsmanship we bring to every project.

How the Insurance Process Works

Initial Phone Call

Every project starts with a conversation. We learn more about the damage to your home, answer your initial questions, and determine whether Cillessen Construction is the right fit for your restoration project.

Free In-Person Consultation

We schedule a complimentary on-site visit to inspect the damage before an adjuster is contacted or a claim is filed. Our team walks the property, documents the damage thoroughly, and helps identify anything that should be included in the claim.

Contact Your Insurance Carrier

We meet with your insurance adjuster at your home to make sure the full property is reviewed and all qualifying damage is included in the claim. This helps reduce missed items and creates a clearer path forward.

Sign the Contract

Once the scope is reviewed and you are ready to move forward, we put everything in writing. Scope, timeline, insurance approvals, and payment terms are clearly defined before work begins.

Insurance Supplement Process

After the contract is signed, our team works directly with your insurance carrier to advocate for a complete restoration. We document the full scope, submit detailed supplements, and help ensure the approved settlement reflects the true cost of the work.

Pre-Construction & Selections

You are assigned a dedicated Project Manager who becomes your main point of contact. Materials are selected, crews are scheduled, permits are pulled where required, and the project schedule is built before construction begins.

Construction & Communication

Our crews show up prepared and work with purpose. Your Project Manager walks active projects regularly and provides updates through the Buildertrend client portal, including progress notes and photos.

Walkthrough, Punch List & Closeout

Once the work is complete, we walk the project with you. Any punch list items are addressed promptly and professionally. We do not consider the job finished until you do.

Final Warranties

After closeout, we issue all applicable workmanship and material warranties. Our relationship does not end when the project is complete. We stand behind our work and follow up to make sure everything holds up the way it should.
